This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Desert Ironwood (Olneya tesota) with Macassar Ebony (Diospyros celebica) cap. This acorn combines two very beautiful timbers from the East and the West. The shimmering desert ironwood from Arizona and the highly figured ebony from SE Asia. This dark acorn is full of subtlty. One has to hold it and turn it around in order to appreciate it's beauty.
