This is a very special mushroom shaped box made out of Lemon (Citrus × limon) with Raphia Palm Nut (Raphia farinifer) cap.  Here is an interesting timber from the common garden lemon tree. The wood is fine grain and very dense, with subtle color variation.  The Raphia nut, with it's random spots, makes a great mushroom cap.  Raphias are monster palms, with leaves up to 82 feet long! The longest leaves in the plant kingdom.  This is where raffia fiber of the trade is coming from.  This nut came from a tree that was already death, since Raphia species only bloom once then the whole tree, or the flowering trunk, would die from the effort.  This mushroom combined two timbers that give familiar fruit and fiber, but the wood themselves are seldon seen.
