This is a pretty slim threaded holder made out of Tulipwood (Dalbergia decipularis) with Mun Ebony (Diospyros mun) cap. A true rosewood species from Brazil, Tulipwood is the brightest one of the rosewoods with irregular streaks of yellow, rose and red or violet on beige colored background. The wood is exceptionally fine grain. This piece is from top grade timber with vibrant color.
