This is a cute acorn box made from Balau Burl (Shorea obtusa)  with Betelnut (Areca catechu) cap.  

Although  South East Asian Balau wood is a highly rated commercial timber, the burl is a rare find.  And what a beauty it is, full swirling grains apparent even in this small acorn.  Capped with the eye-catching palm nut, this acorn is a beauty.

This small acorn box has a removable swivel lobster claw attachment for keychain, lanyard, zipper pull, rearview mirror.  The screw-on cap ensures that your content is secured.
