This is very plum eggplant shape trinket box made out of Purpleheart (Peltogyne paniculata) with Verawood (Bulnesia sarmientoi) cap. Yet, another species of eggplant with purple skin and globose fruit. Took me awhile to hollow out this fruit through the small opening. Got to be careful if I don't want to end up with two halves of an eggplant! This one can stand up on the small recess at it's base. Look delicious!
