This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Cocobolo (Dalbergia retusa) with Black Palm (Borassus flabellifer) cap.

 Cocobolo is a true rosewood from Mexico.  It is a very dense wood that polish up nicely.  The wood is reddish but can exhibit a wide range of colors in a single piece.  The figure can be extremely extravagant in Cocobolo, one of the most striking woods.  This timber was recently placed on the protected list, so it will become harder to find in the near future.  Capped with the uniquely pattern black palm for an eye catching effect.

It is ready to dangle off your keychain, bag zipper, belt with the removable lobster claw. The nut is small enough to be worn as a pendant (without the claw). Good for small daily pills, keepsake...Not recommended for long term storage of emergency pill, since I don't know how air/water tight the closure is. Through the ages, people has given out acorns as a symbol of prosperity and luck. This one is a unique gift.
