This is a unique wood turned vessel made out of Palmer Oak (Quercus palmeri) multiple crotch section. The piece was decorated with the natural edge, voids, bark inclusions and wonderful swirly grain to make it a one-of-a-kind item. It was sanded to satin smooth and finish with wax and oil to retain it's rustic feel. Some of the cracks were filled with clear acrylic, some not for an interesting tactile experience. Good to look at, nice to feel. I really like this one!
