This is a special slim threaded holder made out of Oxhorn Bucida Burl (Bucida buceras) with Desert Ironwood (Olneya tesota) cap. Also known as Florida Black Olive, Gregorywood, Bulletwood...Oxhorn bucida is a common ornamental tree of South Florida and the Keys. The burl, however, is definitely not common, and what a beautiful thing! This is also one of the hardest burl wood I have worked with. The density is right up there with the Deset Ironwood, another very heavy timber. Rare and beautiful!
The crew-on cap makes this holder extra special and ensures that your content is secured. The slim profile fits unobtrusively in a purse or pocket for the people on the go. This holder can be used to hold daily pill, snuff, sewing needles, cash stash and small valuables...Also serves as a nice gift for someone who seems to have everything.
Dimension (largest diameter x height): 1" x 3-1/4"
