This is a special slim threaded holder made out of Thuya Burl ((Tetraclinis articulata) with Burmese Blackwood (Dalbergia cultrata) cap. Thuya Burls, actually grow underground on the roots of Tetraclinis articulata trees, official national tree of the island of Malta. It has the golden brown tone with a pleasant cedar aroma. Thuya Burl is considered something of a national treasure in Morocco. This holder was made from a nice piece of burl with dense figure, apparent even in this small diameter holder. Burmese blackwood is also known as Khamphi Rosewood, and Malaysian Rosewood, a dark, true rosewood species with interesting grain pattern. This is a holder that looks good, feels good and also smells good, what else can one ask for?
The crew-on cap makes this holder extra special and ensures that your content is secured. The slim profile fits unobtrusively in a purse or pocket for the people on the go. This holder can be used to hold toothpicks, pill, snuff, sewing needles, cash stash and small valuables...Also serves as a nice gift for someone who seems to have everything.
