This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Verawood (Bulnesia sarmientoi) with Mun Ebony (Diospyros mun) cap. Vera is a very fine wood (also known as Argentine Lignum Vitae) with a nice green patina. Beside the fact that it is one of the heaviest and hardest wood, I like this special timber for it's unusual color. Couple with the beautifully figured ebony for contrast, this acorn is a beauty.

A nice box for your valuables. The screw-on cap makes this nature inspired box extra special and ensures that your content is secured. Small enough to be worn as a pendant, and good for tiny daily pills, keepsake... Not recommended for long term storage of emergency pill, since I don't know how air/water tight the closure is. Through the ages, people has given out acorns as a symbol of prosperity and luck. This one is a unique gift.
