This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Camatillo (Dalbergia congestiflora) with Mun Ebony (Diospyros mun) cap. Camatillo is a true rosewood species with a beautiful deep purple color and darker streaks.  It is one of the rarer timber since the tree never grow very big.  The incredibly fine grain wood is a joy to work with. Mun Ebony is one of the most beautiful ebony around, often decorated with wild streaks and figures. The wood is very fine grain and stable, ideal for threaded items. The dark color goes well with any other wood, providing accent and contrast.

A nice box for your valuables. The screw-on cap makes this nature inspired box extra special and ensures that your content is secured. It is ready to dangle off your keychain, bag zipper, belt with the removable lobster claw. The nut is small enough to be worn as a pendant (without the claw). Good for small daily pills, keepsake...Not recommended for long term storage of emergency pill, since I don't know how air/water tight the closure is. Through the ages, people has given out acorns as a symbol of prosperity and luck. This one is a unique gift.
