This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Zebrawood (Microberlinia brazzavillensis) with Leopardwood (Panopsis rubellens) cap. You don't have to go on an African safari and hope for an encounter with Zebra and Leopard. They are all here in this wild acorn. African Zebrawood obviously got it's name from the zebra-like stripes. What's not obvious is that the wood also smells like zebra sh*t. It's another type of "aromatic" wood that provides an interesting olfactory experience. Sniff it at your own risk! The Leopard was from South American jungles. The shimmering leopard spots are more obvious on flat surface. There is a few spots on the top of this acorn stem. Stripes and spot, anyone?
A nice box for your valuables. The screw-on cap makes this nature inspired box extra special and ensures that your content is secured, good for jewelry, keepsake... Through the ages, people has given out acorns as a symbol of prosperity and luck. This one is a unique gift.
