This is a very cute acorn shaped box made out of Verawood (Bulnesia sarmientoi) with Lignum Vitae (Guiacum officinale) cap. This teeny tiny acorn was made from two hardest and heaviest woods. Both will develop a green patina upon exposure. It is about the smallest size acorn I can turn and thread. I don't turn small thing like this often because it's beyond my comfort range, size-wise. Anything smaller than this will require the user to have small fingers with good dexterity to open and close. The compartment is tiny so what you store should be either very potent or symbolic.

A nice box for your valuables. The screw-on cap makes this nature inspired box extra special and ensures that your content is secured. The nut is small enough to be worn as a pendant. Good for tiny daily pills, keepsake, as prayer box or memmorial pendan. Not recommended for long term storage of emergency pill, since I don't know how air/water tight the closure is. For a permanent seal, apply a small amount of wood glue to the threads before closing. Through the ages, people has given out acorns as a symbol of prosperity and luck. This one is a unique gift.
