This is a mini acorn pendant from Tulipwood (Dalbergia decipularis) with Manila Palm Nut (Adonidia merrillii) cap. This is the smallest acorn size I can make.  I have to grind down my threading tool to make the internal thread for the cap.  Tulipwood is super fine grain: a requirement for such small items.  It also has such bright pink tint, uncommon in wood. I was wondering what to do with the tiny Manila palm nut that I have lying around for a while.  It turned out to be an awesome acorn cap! I am not sure what you can do with this tiny acorn, other than a memorial pendant or a talisman.  It is crossing the line from being an object of utility to an object of curiousity.  Comes ready to be worn with a wax cotton cord and adjustable slip knots.

This unique pendant has a tiny compartment for memorial keepsake. The screw-on cap ensures that your content is secured. If you want a permanent seal, apply a very small amount of wood glue to the thread before closing.
