This is a cute mushroom shaped box made out of Muriti Palm Nut (Mauritia flexuosa) cap & Knobthorn (Acacia nigrescens) stalk.  A new species of mushroom from my shop, this one has a solid cap with subtle color blend.  From South America,  Muriti is another nice vegetable ivory nut.  It is much smaller than the well known tagua nut, so you don't see it used as often.  The dark ring on the cap is the skin of the nut I retain for accent.  Knobthorn is a nice wood from Africa with shimmering grain, another wood that you don't see often.
