This is a nice acorn box made out of Japanese Sugi (Cryptomeria japonica) w/ Burmese Blackwood (Dalbergia cultrata) cap. Another wood from my Aromatic collection, Sugi is the national tree of Japan and has a distinctive but subtle aroma that perfume my whole workshop when turned. The scent also persists well in finished pieces. This acorn was turned from a nicely figured hardwood. Capped with dark rosewood for contrast.
The screw-on cap ensures that your content is secured. Great for small daily pills or any small things you want to have access on the go...It is also a unique gift since acorn is a symbol of good luck and prosperity.
