This is a very cute slim threaded box made out of Betelnut (Areca catechu) cap with Spalted Tamarind (Tamarindus indica) stalk. Beautifully spalted, this tamarind wood is from the tree that give the sour fruits popular for cooking, making drinks and candy in the tropic. Tamarind heartwood is known for it's hardness. What's fun about this box is the betel nut cap. The unique pattern looks so interesting as a cap.
This threaded box can be used to hold small valuables...The screw-on cap ensured that your content is secured; also serves as a unique gift for nature lovers.
