This is a very pretty acorn shaped pendant box made out of Mun Ebony (Diospyros mun) with Betelnut (areca catechu) cap. Of course, I need to pairt this two. They are both from SE Asia. I grew up amongst people who uses Mun Ebony chopsticks and chew Betelnut with betel leaves. I myself did both. This acorn brought back many fond memories.
