This is a special slim threaded holder made out of Black & White Ebony (Diospyros embryopteris) with Betelnut (Areca catechu) cap. Black & White Ebony is a wood like no other: the contrast is striking, the wild pattern is even more extravagant. This holder is turned cross-grain to show off this beautiful timber. Like any other ebony, this wood is extremely hard, heavy and very fine grain, just what I love in a timber. The cap is fashioned out of betelnut, a palm nut with incredible pattern.
