This is a pretty slim threaded holder made out of Hawaiian Holly (Ilex anomala) with Verawood (Bulnesia sarmientoi) cap. Known locally as Kawau, this species is the only indigenous member of the Holly family native to the Hawaiian Islands. The wood is rarely ultilized since this timber is not available commercially. This small holder was made out of a nice piece with subtle multi-color natural stains on the light background wood. The slightly greenish body looks great with the green Verawood cap.
