This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Camatillo (Dalbergia congestiflora) with Betelnut (Areca catechu) cap. Camatillo is a true rosewood species with a beautiful deep purple color and darker streaks.  It is one of the rarer timber since the tree never grow very big.  The incredibly fine grain wood is a joy to work with. The purplish wood pairs exceptionally well with the eye-catching betelnut cap.

It is ready to dangle off your keychain, bag zipper, belt with the removable lobster claw. The nut is small enough to be worn as a pendant (without the claw). Good for small daily pills, keepsake...Not recommended for long term storage of emergency pill, since I don't know how air/water tight the closure is (unless you wrap your pill).
