LV-2630 Osage Orange & Betel Nut Acorn Key Fob, Pill Holder, Memmorial Pendant-SCREW CAP

LV-2630 Osage Orange & Betel Nut Acorn Key Fob, Pill Holder, Memmorial Pendant-SCREW CAP

$ 60.00

This is a tiny little acorn shaped box made out of Osage Orange (Maclura pomifera) with Betelnut (areca catechu) cap. Osage Orange is a hedge tree found in the Great Plains, from south Oklahoma to Northern Texas. The name of the tree comes from the native Osage tribe and the aroma of the riped fruit. It has nothing to do with the common citrus orange. The wood is one of America's most colorful timber.  The bright yellow wood simmers and glows. The nut looks particularly pretty with the patterned betelnut cap. I like this combination very much but can not keep one in my store for long. It is that popular.

A nice box for your valuables. The screw-on cap makes this nature inspired box extra special and ensures that your content is secured. It is ready to dangle off your keychain, bag zipper, belt with the removable lobster claw. The nut is small enough to be worn as a pendant (without the claw). Good for small daily pills, keepsake...Not recommended for long term storage of emergency pill, since I don't know how air/water tight the closure is (unless you wrap your pill). Through the ages, people has given out acorns as a symbol of prosperity and luck. This one is a unique gift.

Dimension (largest diameter x height): 5/8" x 1-1/8"
