This is a pretty acorn shaped box made out of Camatillo (Dalbergia congestiflora) with Verawood (Bulnesia sarmientoi) cap. This colorful wood combination is my perenial favorite. I keep making these acorns, and they keep getting plucked. Of course, I am not complaining. Camatillo ( a true rosewood) and Vera are at the top of my favorite timbers: beautifu dense wood that polishes up to a hard shine. Let's see how long this little nut is going to brighten my shop before it brighten somebody else's day...
