This is a very special mushroom shaped box made out of Ivorywood (Calycophyllum multiflorum) with Wisteria (Wisteria chinensis) cap. Wisteria is a very beautiful, fast growing, hardy vine that can grow very large.  The world's largest vine known resigns here in California, covering more than 1 acre! The wood is seldom seen utilized, so this is your chance to have your hand on a Wisteria artifact.  What I have here is another species of mushroom, grown from trunks of the wisterias that shadowed my neighbor's house. I guess the magnificient blooms was not enough to compensate for the undisciplined proliferation of this vine, so one fine day, the whole thing was cut down to allow sunlight to enter the once gloomy home. I salvaged a few pieces for my collection and realized it can become awesome mushroom caps. So, here it is...
