LV-3035 Tulipwood & Royal Palm Acorn Box, Pill Holder, Compartment Pendant-SCREW CAP

LV-3035 Tulipwood & Royal Palm Acorn Box, Pill Holder, Compartment Pendant-SCREW CAP

$ 65.00

This is a small acorn shaped box made out of Tulipwood (Dalbergia decipularis) with Royal Palm (Roystonea regia) cap.   Tulipwood is a true rosewood species native to the tropical region of South America, mainly Brazil. It is a hard, heavy, fine textured timber capable of a brilliant finish. Tulipwood has irregular streaks of yellow, rose and red or violet on a light background, the brightest color mix among the rosewoods.  Capped with cross-cut Royal palm-the hardest "wood" for me to thread.  The resulting shimmering polka dots add visual interest to this acorn.

A nice box for your valuables. The screw-on cap makes this nature inspired box extra special and ensures that your content is secured. Good for small daily pills, keepsake... Not recommended for long term storage of emergency pill, since I don't know how air/water tight the closure is. Through the ages, people has given out acorns as a symbol of prosperity and luck. This one is a unique gift.

Dimension (largest diameter x height): 7/8" x 1-3/8"
