This is a mini pendant box made out of Camatillo (Dalbergia congestiflora). Camatillo is a true rosewood species with a beautiful deep purple color and darker streaks.  It is one of the rarer timber since the tree never grow very big. It is one of my favorite for it's dense and stable wood, perfect for tiny secret compartment like this one.  The cap opening is hidden in the design for a true secret compartment jewelry. This pendant is ready to wear with a double strand leather cord. The antique bronze beads add a little sparkle to this ensemble, yet retain it tribal-inspired, earthy charm. I like this one!

This pretty pendant has a tiny secret compartment for very small daily pills or memorial keepsake. The screw-on cap ensures that your content is secured, yet can be easily accessed. If you want a permanent seal, apply a very small amount of wood glue to the thread before closing.
