This is a unique tall vase made out of Pacific Yew Burl (Taxus brevifolia) Burl.  Yew is considered a sacred tree by the Druids.  I am not sure about the magical power it possessed, but the burl was surely a joy to turn.  I like the warm tone and nice figure in this piece!
