This is a pretty slim threaded holder made out of Hawaiian Milo Burl (Thespesia populnea) with Betelnut (Areca catechu) cap. Also known as Red Mahoe, Pacific Rosewood, Seaside Mahoe, Milo is a beautiful tree with yellow, hibiscus-like flower. It is common along the coastal areas of the tropic. Here I have a rare version of a burl from this beautiful timber with subtle pattern. Capped with a not so subtle betelnut for added visual interest.
