This is a fun mushroom shaped box made out of Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia) cap with a Red Zebrawood (Berlinia grandiflora) stalk. A few seasonal mushrooms are ready for your enjoyment. They are made from California grown oak and an African wood named after a striped savannah animal.  Thanks to the green recycling program in San Jose, I occasionally find a pile of live oak trimming on the curbside, ready to be collected and ground up for compost, I would rescue a few branches and hope for the best. 

This threaded box can be used to hold small valuables...The screw-on cap ensured that your content is secured; also serves as a unique gift for nature lovers.
