This is a beautiful container made from a super figured Pistachio (Pistachia vera), capped with Brown Ebony (Caesalpina paraguariensis), and topped off with a Raffia Palm Nut (Raphia australis) knob for the fun of it.

I really like this one!  The silky smoothness, the hefty weight, the coolness of the wood itself are making this piece a joy to handle.  And what a magnificent piece of pistaschio! The dark ring and the polka-dot nut of the cap add an exotic flavor to this already handsome vessel.
