This is a very pretty acorn shaped box made out of Ziricote (Cordia dodecandra) with Verawood (Bulnesia sarmientoi) cap. This box combines two very interesting wood from South America: Verawood for it bright green patina and Ziricote for it's wild pattern. The ziricote cap of this box was turned cross grain to show off the beautiful figure. Both are super fine timbers that polish up to a hard shine. I like this one!
A nice box for your valuables. The screw-on cap makes this nature inspired box extra special and ensures that your content is secured. Through the ages, people has given out acorns as a symbol of prosperity and luck. This one is a unique gift.
